How To Use +

Step 1.
Start with fully dry, detangled hair. Apply Cool AF Heat Protectant generously from root to tip and let it absorb and dry fully before styling. Never start styling while hair is still damp.  

  Step 2.
Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds to turn on. Use the + / − buttons to set your temperature (see heat guide below). Wait for the tool to reach your set temperature before styling. 

Step 3.
To Curl (with clip): Open the clamp and use as a traditional curling iron. Section hair into 2–3 layers and take 1–2 inch sections. Clamp hair near the root, wrap downward, hold 5–10 seconds, then release. For harder-to-curl or fine hair, take smaller 1-inch sections for better hold. 

To Wave (wand style): Keep the clamp closed and lock the two plates together. Wrap hair freely around the barrel, holding the ends. Hold a few seconds for a softer, effortless wave, then release slowly. Alternate curl directions for a more natural finish. 

To Straighten: Slide the lock switch on the back of the tool to flat iron mode. Take small, neat 1–2 inch sections — especially for wavy, curly, or thicker hair. Clamp close to the root and glide slowly and firmly from root to tip. A slow, steady pass is what delivers sleek results. 

Step 4.
Once curls are fully cooled, shake out or finger-comb to finish. Lock in with Tossed Up Dry Texture Spray for bounce and hold, or Bye Bye Flyaways Taming Wand/Wax Stick for an extra sleek finish. 

Step 5.
Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds to turn off. Unplug and allow to cool completely before storing.
